Blakes Haunted House

At 9:00 AM the Blakes moved into their newly acquired home. They had plenty of onlookers but very few out of the crowd offered to help. There was an eerie feeling about the neighborhood, or maybe it was just the house. When the family of eight had picked this particular house to begin with they didn't know the reason they had gotten such a large estate for so little money. They didn't know about the mysterious happenings in the house until later that night.

*** Later that night

In the room that the girls happened to choose as their own... The family had just gotten rid of hopefully the last visitors for the night and had gone to straighten out their new rooms with their stuff piled high into mounds. The three oldest girls, they were triplets, found their way down the lengthy corridors to their own room which they had to share for the time being.

Eve was the first one through the door and saw the untouched room first. Leisal was second then came Amber with her brilliant red hair flying across her back as she skipped behind her sisters. Eve jumped back at the sight of the room, Leisal and Amber demonizing into her.
"Boy is this a fixer-upper!" The three of them said in unison followed by their laughter.

Their stuff was piled around 3 beds plus some other stuff they knew they didn't own. There was a dresser piled with Leisal's clothes pushed up against a bed. Someone had been nice enough to put sheets on the beds so they just changed into their pajamas and talked in bed.

When they woke up Eve was brushing her long blond hair stroking it 100 times till it was perfectly smooth. They got changed into their clothes and Eve watched as Amber and Leisal brushed each others long hair.

"Amber, I love your hair, I wish mine were red like yours." Replied Leisal suddenly, not missing one stroke.

"Nonsense Leisal, You have the most gorgeouse shiny black hair, I want hair like yours." Said Amber.

Their beloved little 3 year old sister Grettle came into their room with tired eyes. It didn't look like she had much of a good sleep. Eve held out her arms and Grettle gladly accepted the invitaiton and plopped down on Eve and her bed. She gave Eve a big hug and looked at her with her huge hazel eyes and said "I wanna go gome Eve" and burried her face in Eve's lap. Eve looked up at her two sisters who returned her look.

"Lets go get some breakfast. I am so starved!" Said Leisal. So all four of the girls went upstairs to the kitchen.

The kitchen was large, there was plenty of room for the whole family to roam around in. It smelled musty like the rest of the house and it also needed some work done. This house had obviously not been lived in for a very long time. We were all there at the breakfast table now staring at each other between crunches of cold cereal. There was David their father, Jenny their Mother, Jason, Eve, Leisal, Amber, Jeffery and Grettle all sitting around the table in their PJ's. Then Dad spoke up "You all know the routine, get dressed and be ready to clean in exactly 15 minutes!" Then we all got up and went to our rooms. We came out in grubby work clothes and our hair was tied up. Grettle came out in a sunday dress and I had to explain to her that we weren't playing dress up today and helped her pick out something appropriat for work. Levis and a t-shirt work good for me so we all looked pretty much the same. We Started in the kitchen and dinning area. That took all day long. There was about ten pounds of dust on the floor!

When we finallyl retired to bed us triplets did a little rearanging in our room. Later that night in our room we discovered an attic in the middle of our room. There were some old shelves that hung over my bed. Amber's bed was across the room frommine. Her bed was crammed up against a wall and an overstuffed dresser.
